Physical interconnect to Wireless Logic’s data centre is win-win for ADSL alternative

ISP’s wanting 3G/4G primary and back-up are switching to a physical interconnect for high bandwidth connectivity.

Recently, Wireless Logic has seen a big increase in Internet Service Providers (ISPs) switching to 3G/4G back-up and even primary, as a direct replacement to ADSL. And to enable higher bandwidth and a seamless intereconnect, ISPs are utilising a physical fibre interconnect by hardwiring within their data centres. Such connectivity is creating more flexibility for ISPs and direct control for them to manage all data traffic without the need for a VPN.

Whether as back-up or as a primary for a data-rich ADSL alternative, the physical hardwire interconnect solution is a least-cost route without the need for dedicated fixed lines. Naturally such an interconnect is suitable for organisations sharing data centres with Wireless Logic with the process taking as little as two days to set up.

‘Wireless Logic provides a unique gateway into 17 mobile networks – a physical interconnect directly into us ensures bigger links with higher bandwidth with one window to multiple cellular providers,” comments Matt Thomas, Chief Technology Officer for Wireless Logic. “3G/4G back-up or primary is now a genuine alternative to the expense and potential lengthy timescales when needing immediate broadband services. This simple yet important link enables ISPs to deliver more flexible and tailored solutions, with rapid deployment and minimal CAPEX.”
