CEO and Co-founder
Oliver has spent 30 years in the IT and mobile industries. He has steered the commercial and strategic direction of the company since its inception. Oliver was instrumental in selling the company originally in 2003 to Phones International Group and led the subsequent management buy-out in 2011, backed by mid-market private equity house, ECI Partners. In 2015, he led the successful transition from ECI to CVC Capital Partners followed by Montagu Private Equity in 2018.
CSO and Co-founder
Acknowledged as an industry expert and an M2M technology and communications strategist, Philip has been instrumental in shaping the business and putting the Group’s growth strategy in place. He is regularly quoted in industry publications and speaks at key industry events. As Chief Strategy Officer, Phil delivers visionary insight into the progressive world of M2M and IoT, identifying new opportunities for the group, globally.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Richard joined Wireless Logic as CFO in April 2012. A chartered accountant, he spent much of his career in corporate finance at PwC. Richard has supported management teams, companies and private equity houses on many acquisitions, disposal and re-financing across Europe. Richard advised ECI Partners during the management buy-out of Wireless Logic in August 2011 and the subsequent processes with CVC Capital Partners (2015) and most recently with Montagu Private Equity in June 2018. Richard brings a wealth of commercial and transactional knowledge to the management team.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Matt has been implementing and designing IT systems for some 20 years. He joined Wireless Logic as CTO in 2012 and is responsible for data centre management, the on-going development of Wireless Logic’s M2M platforms and implementing new value added services. In his early career Matt was a systems architect before moving onto service delivery management and to run his own consultancy company. Matt has a Computer Science degree and an MBA from Imperial College, London.
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Simon comes from a strong technical and senior commercial background with over 20 years’ experience in technology, 15 in the telecommunications industry. Having previously worked with Wireless Logic to design the early SIMPro platform, Simon joined Wireless Logic in 2016 returning to the UK after two years in Asia heading up commercial and operations for the Brandpath Group. With previous roles at executive level, Simon has worked directly with some of the world’s biggest brands including Google, Vodafone, Samsung and Sony to deliver complex technology and operations solutions into mature and emerging markets. Simon is responsible for the innovation, development and support of the Wireless Logic business systems and applications.
Matthew re-joined Wireless Logic mid-2014 as Operations Director to lead an Operations team focused on customer service and supporting company growth. Matthew now leads the group’s commercial activities working alongside co-founder Philip Cole. At BlackBerry, Matthew held the positions of Director of Operations EMEA and then Director of Global Enterprise Sales Operations. Responsibilities included driving operational and cultural change globally and more specifically creation, integration and management of various M2M and IoT service teams to support the rapid growth across EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Matthew has an Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science degree from Edinburgh University.
As Sales Director, Matt is responsible for the sales strategy across the Wireless Logic Group. Prior to this appointment Matt directed Wireless Logic’s strategic partnerships – key clients and all Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and most recently as Director of Operations. Matt has considerable business development and operational experience and brings vital customer and sales-focused skills to the Sales Director role. Matt joined the company from Nemesis GB, an automotive communications company, where he was Sales and Marketing Director.
Business Development Director
Jon-Paul (JP) joined the management team in 2008 and has worked in industrial communications and network management solutions for over 15 years. JP is responsible for identifying and developing new and emerging sectors within the M2M space as well as project managing the integration of clients’ systems with Wireless Logic’s NetPro infrastructure.
Financial Controller and Billing Manager
As well as managing both the finance and billing departments, Kiko has helped design and create Wireless Logic’s internal billing systems. Kiko joined Wireless Logic in 2004 and has full responsibility for the finance and billing teams.
As Operations Manager Hannah heads up the team responsible for both Technical Support and SIM Management. Committed to service excellence, Hannah is driven to ensure the organisation delivers the best customer experience by ensuring Service Level Agreements are met and surpassed. Hannah joined the organisation in 2009 and is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University.
Jon Ander Mielgo
Country Manager, Spain
Jon heads up Wireless Logic’s Spanish operation and leads a multi-talented team of both sales, support and operations personnel from our office in Bilbao, northern Spain. Jon came to Wireless Logic with a wealth of M2M experience having spent a total of 12 years with leading industry players including Ericsson and Enfora.
Managing Director, Germany
Uli became Managing Director of Wireless Logic GmbH in 2011. He came to the role with an incredibly broad experience of the communications technology and M2M industries. Uli began his career at Siemens in R&D and project management roles and went on to become VP of European sales for Siemens wireless modules/Cinterion (now Gemalto).
Managing Director, Europe
Marc joined Wireless Logic in 2012 to create and develop our French subsidiary. He brings a real depth of M2M platform experience from Gemalto, where he set up their M2M offering and developed it for five years. Prior to this, Marc had been Gemalto’s Director of New Business and held positions in marketing and business development at Gemplus. He is now responsible for Group activities across all European companies. Marc holds a Master degree in Physics and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications.
