Bi-lingual Service Desk/Customer Support (English/French)

This is a varied position working for a growing organisation on a busy Service Desk, dealing with all aspects of 1st line support and diagnostics. The team is responsible for supporting almost 4000 internal and external customers. This role will be responsible for ensuring standards of service expectations and SLA’s are met. The role will involve general duties ranging from responding to customer requests / queries via Zendesk (ticket management system), managing customer accounts and general maintenance of M2M database. After training, the candidate may be required to deal with product allocation queries and amendments. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation skills. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be natural problem solver. The candidate must be proactive in approach and be a team player willing to go that extra mile when required in line with the business needs.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • 1st line support for diagnosing connectivity problems/issues
  • Logging phone calls and triaging queries using Zendesk in both English and French
  • Providing operational support to the business
  • Ensuring M2M SIM provisioning system (SIMPro) is kept up-to-date and accurate (despatches, activations, cancellations, suspensions etc)
  • Liaising with networks to troubleshoot and diagnose faults
  • Completing network escalations
  • May be required to manage product set up
  • Managing and supporting dealer/customer relationships
  • Arranging and provide training to customers via our online portal
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Key skill and competency requirements

Wireless Logic is growing and is looking for a technical product manager to build our communications management, big data and eSIM platforms. This is the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most intelligent and forward-thinking minds in the IoT (Internet of Things) communications industry, leveraging the technical capabilities and premium services of the business.

This position suits a Technical Product Manager with a background in software engineering (as a developer or Technical Product Manager) and experience working on a SaaS, IaaS or PaaS platforms. You will have experience building best-in-class APIs and ideally experience of the full application stack.

Reporting to CIO.

Primary Job Functions

  • Partnering closely with Technical Managers & Commercial teams to deliver solutions
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in your products – support & train our staff and customers, identify & investigate issues through to resolution, and continuously work to enhance your products
  • Converting high level business requirements into clear, accurate functional requirements both for your development team and customers
  • Managing, organizing & driving sprints and the short-term roadmap – you’ll own the immediate term “how do I make this happen?”
  • Working very closely with the development scrum teams day to day - conveying project/story vision, defining sprint priorities, partnering on solution design, and being available for questions & support

Required Experience

  • Work with developers and customers to define the product roadmap and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, business and finance teams to ensure business, functional and technical requirements are met and validated
  • Draw upon a data-driven decision-making process to build decisions leading to platform optimisation
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and champion the product with key business partners
  • Successfully launched a platform as a Technical Product Manager
  • Experience working on a SaaS, IaaS or PaaS platform

The Network Architect will lead act as technical design authority for NetPro our managed services network which provides connectivity services for approx. 1 Million Devices across 6000 customers. Taking the lead in the definition of strategies, principles, and standards for its development. Crucial to the role will be the interaction with key business stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment with the business direction and objectives.

The role will be responsible for coaching and development of other support and design team members as well as leading project delivery.

Technical Experience & Skills

  • Experience in developing, configuring, managing and supporting enterprise / service provider networks with diverse needs using multiple technologies and vendors
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies through achievement of Cisco CCIE /JNCIE or equivalent expertise
  • Experience of routing and switching and VPN protocols and technologies (BGP / OSPF / IS-IS / ECMP / STP / MPLS / VRF / IPSec / GRE / TLS)
  • Extensive knowledge of Network Security, Threat Detection / Mitigation (Cisco ISE, DPI, Cisco ASA / Firepower)

Business / Leadership Experience & Skills

  • Experience with design, implementation and operation of large-scale enterprise and or service provider deployments of network and security infrastructures using a continuous improvement methodology while enforcing compliance standards such as ISO 27001
  • In-depth understanding of business strategy and ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus amongst many stakeholders
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to promote open communication and teamwork
  • Ability to establish, implement and enforce appropriate policies & standards to meet business requirements

Other Relevant Experience

  • Experience in a similar network architecture role within a medium/large enterprise or as a consultant with demonstrable success in achieving improved performance, cost efficiency, and standardisation
  • Experience with procurement of network services and oversight of managed service providers

  • Familiar with mobile networks and associated technologies
  • Experience of working with Diameter and Radius protocols

Responsible for defining and rolling out a marketing plan. The ideal candidate has a demonstrable track record of delivering integrated marketing programs online and offline that enhance brand awareness, increase lead generation and ultimately drive higher pipeline contribution for international markets, as well as building the presence of Wireless Logic in the IoT market.

Primary Job Functions

  • Define quarterly marketing plans and collaborate with regional teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop and execute measurable demand generation campaigns and programs that drive lead generation and prospect registration
  • Develop marketing-to-customer programs to accelerate the customer community success: newsletters, webinar program, enablement workshops, etc.
  • Develop cross-sell/up-sell customer marketing programs that help expand our footprint in specific channels and verticals
