Account Manager

The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales team to build close relationships with existing customer accounts, while at the same time developing the expansion of the customer base. The candidate will work closely with the Business Development team.
As part of his/her duties, the Account Manager will seize the opportunity to act as part of a cohesive team of sales professionals responsible for expanding the business throughout the U.K.

The role

As a result of dramatic growth, Wireless Logic is looking to recruit further exceptional talent into the Sales team. You will join a dynamic team who have built an enviable reputation for value-added IoT & M2M connectivity with significant account wins across each of the evolving market sectors that we work in.

Principle responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and on-going management of key accounts.
  • Managing customer enquiries, day-to-day account management, usage and billing queries and working to develop customer relationships and account growth.
  • You will have direct responsibility for the planning and delivery of business generation initiatives.
  • You will be expected to develop comprehensive, high-level business proposals; engaging, negotiating with and working alongside a number of partners as part of Wireless Logic’s value chain.
  • Work with a diverse business audience from high-end systems-integrators, OEMs, module developers, through to multi-national procurement teams. Each requires an ability to deliver client-focused and on-going relationship building.
  • Develop realistic sales pipelines and exceeding targets should be enhanced by a driving ambition to grow and evolve with the organisation.
  • In order to ensure the continued growth of the Company, the incumbent will participate in sales and marketing campaigns from conception through development to implementation and monitoring/reporting.
  • Qualifying opportunities for referral to the sales team, helping with bids, negotiating billing queries, contractual queries to existing customer base to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained at the highest standards and in line with our Sales code and expected customers service levels.
  • The role will be key to develop and sustain close working relationships with key customer accounts, to understand their short and medium-term priorities and requirements and to communicate these to operational personnel.
  • Monitoring and accurate reporting of tasks and processes will be required.

Billing Analyst

In joining the Commercial team at Wireless Logic, you will support several departments to balance the market’s proposition requirements with the business goals. Our Billing Analyst will own all areas of tariff management to hit a number of targets. You will develop tariffs to suit customers’ needs while maximize operational efficiency through Wireless Logic systems. You will drive and effect process improvements, to deliver efficient performance into the existing activities. You will identify and investigate risks and opportunities identified across the entire connected estate, and where appropriate to negotiate with Carriers and manage through to resolution to maximise the cash flow and Profit & Loss benefits to Wireless Logic.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • To analyse live utilisation information, and to derive actions as a result
  • To ensure the complete and accurate creation of the tariffs for customers and with partners
  • To analyse and review operational structure to maximize efficiency of process and cost
  • Own all reporting to ensure key management information is accurately reported for all periods, and all disputes, risks and opportunities are identified and captured.
  • Participate positively in projects, outside of normal duties, and provide direction and guidance to team members.
  • To define and operate the operational and control processes relating to tariff management

Qualifications

  • Strong proven analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in the billing management and functions of a large processed based industry preferably from Telco Companies
  • Communication to both internal and external Finance and non-Finance parties
  • Experience of dealing with overseas customers and vendors
  • Experience of commercial settlement activities
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot table and complex formulae
  • Solid understanding of the whole M2M/IoT eco-system and of related business models in general
